In the wake of the debacle over Sony's refusal to screen The Interview following terrorist threats and hacking, you'd think filmmakers would be giving North Korea a wide berth, right?
After all, one studio has already dumped a North Korean-set thriller and several more scripts are rumoured to have been put on the backburner for the time being.
The Interview's international release has been scrapped, also, including Ireland and the studio's expected to lose upwards of $60 million on the film.
None of this phases Larry Flynt and Hustler, however.
The porn king - and champion of free speech - has declared that he's putting a porn parody of the ill-fated comedy into production.
"If Kim Jong Un and his henchmen were upset before, wait till they see the movie we're going to make," said Flynt.
Flynt is a vocal champion of First Amendment rights in the US. In 1988, he fought Christian televangelist Jerry Falwell in the Supreme Court and won. His life and the trial itself was turned into a critically-acclaimed biopic starring Woody Harrelson in 1996.
The porn parody, entitled This Ain't The Interview XXX, will follow the plot of the original and is expected to show Kim Jong-Un in a number of hugely embarrassing scenarios.
Better install Norton and delete anything unsavoury from your e-mail inbox, Flynt.
Wait a second - it's Larry Flynt. He probably WANTS people to see the weird shit he e-mails around.
