Thirty discs. Thirty. Count them.

Since the release of Battle Of The Five Armies, fans and collectors have been clamouring for a full collection of each and every Tolkien film into one handy boxset. That now appears to be a reality as it's been confirmed by Amazon.com that a thirty-disc set, featuring all the extended editions, behind-the-scenes documentaries and everything from Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, will soon be available to buy.

As well as this, each Blu-Ray cover is covered in faux-leather and sits in a wooden chest thingy made out of solid wood. Not only that, the set also comes with the Red Book of Westmarch, the amalgamated book that Frodo and Bilbo Baggins wrote as The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, except it's filled with concept art from the film.

There's no price tag available for any of this yet, however io9 did report that the initial price-tag for all this was $800. EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS.

So, yeah, maybe wait and see if it turns up on sale somewhere.
