Anne Hathaway has some decision-making to do, as she's rumoured to have been offered both the starring role in the 'Sesame Street' movie, as well as 'The Witches' fresh adaptation.
While nothing has been accepted by Hathaway yet, sources say the 'Sesame Street' film will be a musical, which the actor has been no stranger to. In case you forgot, Hathaway won an Oscar for her role as Fantine in 2012's 'Les Miserables'.
Jonathan Krisel, the co-creator and director of the sketch show 'Portlandia' will helm the live-action kids movie. 'Sesame Street' will be a Warner Bros. and MGM collaboration, with the right's holders Sesame Workshop also expected to have an active part in its development.
Jim Henson's educational series started way back in 1969, and has graced us with household names such as Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, and Elmo over the years.
News on 'The Witches' new adaptation has remained quiet recently, but the movie is set to be a fresh take on Roald Dahl's book of the same name. You're sure to remember the original 1990 movie - you know the one, it gave you nightmares as a child.
