We've been given our first taste of 'The Menu', a new comedy horror starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult as they travel to a remote island to experience the culinary delights of chef Ralph Fiennes.

Everything at the start of the trailer seems very exquisite and delightful. However, there's something off about the head chef and his team of robotic waiters. We soon find out that there is indeed a sinister side to the fine-dining experience. But what it is exactly is left to guessing for now.

Hoult's character is clearly enamoured by the whole experience, and even tears up at one point. Taylor-Joy, who plays his partner, however, is not as into the whole experience and seems to be a bit freaked out. We see Fiennes confront her, saying she "shouldn't be here tonight."

Everything else about the plot is under wraps at the moment. But we're already scrambling to try and figure out what the big secret is. Cannibalism perhaps? Who knows what exactly they're eating.

'The Menu' is directed by Mark Mylod. The English filmmaker has also directed 'Succession', 'Game of Thrones' and 'Shameless'. Adam McKay and Betsy Koch of Hyperobject Industries will produce.

Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, Reed Birney, Paul Adelstein, Aimee Carrero, Arturo Castro, Mart St. Cyr, Rob Yan, and John Leguizamo make up the rest of the cast.

Hoult will also appear in the upcoming horror comedy 'Renfield' alongside Nicolas Cage. Taylor-Joy will also star in David O. Russel's upcoming 'Amsterdam' alongside Christian Bale.
