Nick Nolte is set to join the cast of Darren Aronofsky's new big movie Noah, which is due for release in just a few months. Nick who goes in and out of favour in Hollywood a LOT, is rather aptly going to play the part of a fallen angel called Samyaza.

Poor aul Nick Nolte 'ey? A fallen angel indeed - with three Oscar nominations under his belt, and not one to show for it, as well as being arrested for driving under the influence back in 2002 (as per The Guardian). While he is often underrated, the actor almost has a cult following at this stage. Who can forget him in flicks like Cape Fear and The Thin Red Line? He was a big ledgebag so he was.

The part is a voice job, so hence why he can be brought in last minute. Aronofsky was actually going to use Breaking Bad actor Mark Margolis who played Héctor 'Tio' Salamanca, but then changed his mind. Although, he would have also been a pretty cool addition to be fair.

The film, which stars Russell Crowe playing the part of Noah, is set to be one of the biggest hits of 2014. Aronofsky you might remember, also directed The Black Swan and The Wrestler, so he is pretty much a 'go big or go home' type of bloke.

You can see it in cinemas in March of this year. Watch the trailer below if you fancy!
