It hardly comes as a surprise that Christopher Nolan wants people to enjoy 'Tenet' the way it's meant to be seen - in the cinema. And there's no better time for the movies than blockbuster season.

Thus in a perhaps not so surprising move, 'Tenet' will not follow other movies in delaying its release.

It's clinging to that July 17th date for all it's got.

Warner Bros has pushed its next major release, 'Wonder Woman 1984', from June 5th to August 14th. They've also moved 'Scoob!' and 'In the Heights' to unconfirmed dates.

However the studio is keeping the July slot for 'Tenet' as they hope the global theatrical market will have improved by then.

Plot details for the movie are being firmly kept under wraps. It has been described as "as an action epic revolving around international espionage, time travel, and evolution."

John David Washington, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Robert Pattinson, and Michael Caine star.
