Oscar beacon Hilary Swank will produce and potentially star in an adaptation of Emily Giffin's 2005 debut novel Something Borrowed according to the fine folk at trade bible Variety. The film, which has just gone out to writers, centres on a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her best friend's fiance following her 30th birthday. That dirty trollop. Sounds more P.S I Love You than Oscar worthy material; but 'P.S' was a strong hit for the much lauded actress, who is still trying to juggle commercial fare with much more noteworthy material.
