Steven Spielberg as announced that his much conversed over Abraham Lincoln biopic will start shooting in early 2009 for a release later that year. The bearded one is currently prepping his skit in the Tin Tin trilogy, but revealed that most of the work on that will be done in post, as its all motion capture based. Another project that he was pondering was The Trial of the Chicago Seven, which had Sacha Baron Cohen attached to star, but apparently ran into some scripting problems - giving the Lincoln film the greenlight. Liam Neeson has been attached to play assassinated American leader for three years, and had been awaiting a start date from Spielberg.
