Aaron Sorkin, the chap behind The West Wing and Charlie Wilson's War, is set to redraft the script for stalled sports drama Moneyball, that was ready to roll a few weeks back with Steven Soderbergh to direct, and Brad Pitt set to star. The plug was pulled on that film a mere few days before production was supposed to begin by Sony, who weren't happy with Soderbergh and scripter Steve Zallian's final take on the material. Pitt is apparently still attached to star, but a new director is expected to be announced in the next week or two, while Sorkin's draft is due in about a month. Sorkin currently has the Facebook movie heading towards filming with David Fincher attached to direct.
