Bill Murray is reuniting with Sofia Coppola for another drama-comedy that reads along the lines of 'Lost In Translation', with Rashida Jones attached to star alongside Murray.
'On The Rocks' is described as a drama-comedy where a mother (Jones) reconnects with her playboy father (Murray, obviously) on an adventure through New York. What's equally exciting about this is that it's the first movie announced from indie studio A24 and Apple, who are planning a move into original content ala Netflix and Amazon.
Speaking of Netflix, the last time Coppola and Murray worked together was for Netflix's 'A Very Murray Christmas', which saw the comedy icon trying to film a Christmas special in a New York hotel in the middle of a snowstorm. Celebrity guests included George Clooney, Miley Cyrus and Chris Rock, as well as Rashida Jones, Michael Cera and Amy Poehler.
No release date has been set for 'On The Rocks'.
