Four actors have been revealed to be in the running for the new Spiderman movie being directed by (500) Days of Summer helmer, Marc Webb.
Jamie Bell
24 year old British actor of Billy Elliot fame. Has been getting more-and-more consistent with his roles of late, and is the biggest name on the list.
Josh Hutcherson
Much travelled 18 year old star of the enjoyable likes of Little Manhattan, Bridge to Terabithia and Zathura. He's a fine actor, and has bags of experience for someone so young.
Alden Ehrenreich
Not overly familiar with this chap. Was apparently discovered by Steven Spielberg, and has popped up in CSI and Francis Ford Coppalla's latest, Tetro.
Andrew Garfield
American born, British raised actor, who has appeared in Lions for Lambs, and the well received Red Riding. Is the oldest of the bunch at 26.
The film will reportedly centre on Peter Parker in high school, trying to come to terms with the death of his Uncle. We will see a finished product next summer.
