A clip of him reacting in apparent disbelief at 'I'm Just Ken' winning a Critics' Choice Award went viral last month.

However, Ryan Gosling is set to take the song from 'Barbie' to the biggest stage in movies as it's been confirmed that he will perform it live at the Oscars.

The song's nomination in the 'Best Original Song' category was revealed last month, but it wasn't clear whether Gosling, who of course plays Ken in the film, would actually perform it live or not. He told Variety: "It might be too much of a risk to have me do it. I don’t know how that would work. But I’m open to it."

However, it has now been confirmed that he will indeed perform it at the Academy Awards on March 10th.

The other songs nominated for Best Original Song are Billie Eilish & Finneas's 'What Was I Made For', 'The Fire Inside' by Diane Warren, Jon Batiste's 'It Never Went Away' and Scott George's 'Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)'.

Whether Gosling performs the song in costume or not remains to be seen.

The Oscars take place on March 10th.
