The latest from the Star Wars universe, Solo: A Star Wars Story, an origins story to the character of Han Solo first epically brought to life by Harrison Ford, hasn’t been doing all that great.
The spinoff is struggling at the box office and not meeting estimated figures. It made $101 million at the domestic box office over its first four days while internationally, it didn't fare much better with $65 million taken in so far (see the full report here).
During filming, Solo was plagued with production problems with its director Ron Howard (who you can check out our interview with for Solo here) actually replacing the original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller in the eleventh hour.
Still, Howard is maintaining a sense of humour about the whole thing which you have to admire.
He’s been keeping upbeat by sharing reviews from fans who loved the Solo movie and even retweeted the following:
Box office be damned. Retweet this if you loved #SoloAStarWarsStory
