Marvel's Avengers Assemble has had an epic opening around the globe, and this has caused folk to ask about further films in each character's series - most notably Iron Man which is gearing up to shoot a third film literally in the coming days.

Robert Downey Jr. was quizzed about how he'd feel if he hung up the helmet and allowed someone else to come in and play Tony Stark; "I would really hate for someone else to think they could step into my shoes. I wonder who's playing Tony Stark next.… I know things are looking like that they could go on for a long while. As usual in my book, it's all about quality control and delivering a product that you can have this kind of reaction to. If they keep doing that, maybe I'll keep showing up" said the star to MTV News.

The immensely talented Shane Black is directing the third Iron Man, replacing Jon Favreau who will stay on board to produce.
