Former Eastenders star Rob Kazinsky and Willem Dafoe are in talks for Guillermo del Toro's alien-invasion movie, Pacific Rim reports Variety.
The films Idris Elba, while the story is set in 2025, "twelve years into a war against alien creatures who reside in the middle of the Pacific Ocean." Charlie Hunnan and Charlie Day have already been cast. Tom Cruise was originally in the Elba role.
Kazinsky was previously cast in The Hobbit, but had to pull out of production for "family reasons".
