We're slowly edging towards a release date for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (man, that's hard to say quickly).
While the first trailer was poured over and analysed, we haven't heard much from Zack Snyder's follow-up to Man of Steel in quite some time.
That is, however, until now.
These first images from Entertainment Weekly show Bats and Supes looking all angry and intense at one another whilst another image shows Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor with a surprisingly full head of hair.
We're guessing he loses that somewhere along the way.
We also get our first look at Wonder Woman sans the usual get-up and an insight to how Affleck's playing the character.
"He’s on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it," explained Affleck.
"But this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical."
That cynicism is going to feed into the story as Batman fears Superman, who's being hailed as a modern-day Messiah, will eventually use his power to overthrow governments and control the world.
While the two of them are battling, another villain rises up in the midst of the chaos - we're guessing that's Luthor.
So, whaddya think? Getting excited or is Nolan's version still the superior version?
