It's almost About Time for Richard Curtis's new romantic comedy/drama 'About Time' to hit Irish cinemas. See what I did there? Okay FINE; I'll get my coat.

I've already had the pleasure of seeing it and let me tell you, it's not your average rom-com by numbers malark, it's got everything you want and it's not as predictable as the fare you're no doubt fed up of.

Domhnall Gleeson stars as they very charming yet entirely normal, self deprecating, Tim who finds out on his 21st birthday that he, along with the other men in his family, possess the rare ability to travel back in time. As the legendary Bill Nighy quickly points out, it's not as drastic as it sounds; they can't go back and kill Hitler or anything. But they can make small and significant changes to their own lives, right some wrongs etc.

Domhnall soon meets the adorable Rachel McAdams (their chemistry on screen is incredibly palpable and enjoyable to watch unfold), and the pair fall in love. Though it's not just a romance, it's also a story about a father and his son. Can you get a more fantastic movie dad than Bill Nighy? Unlikely. Highly.

Anyhoo having had a goo at the premiere photos and reminded of the cinematic delight that soon awaits, we thought we'd bring the trailer and photos to your attention.

I caught up with Mr Gleeson ahead of the release so we'll have that interview live on site within a few weeks.

Til then!
