The amiable but charismatic presence of Patrick Wilson is in negotiations while (the hilarious comedian) Patton Oswalt has already signed for roles in Jason Reitman's next project Young Adult, reports The Los Angeles Times, by way of Darkhorizons.com.
Reitman's Juno writer Diablo Cody has written the script, while Charlize Theron is already set to star as a writer "returning to her hometown to reconnect with a now married ex-boyfriend who wants nothing to do with her." I'm assuming Wilson will be that guy, but neither outlet has confirmed that.
Wilson was last seen in The Switch, was criminally underrated in Watchmen, and should fit well with Reitman's and Cody's tonal sensibilities ; Oswalt is a top drawer, highly respected comedian and should be sought out if you like laughing.
