Marisa Tomei has been announced as the special guest for this year's Galway Film Fleadh.

The actor is jetting into Galway for the world premiere of 'Behold My Heart' and will likely be around town for a few days of the festival itself. Tomei isn't the only actor in Galway either, as both Barry Keoghan and Moe Dunford are in town for 'The Dig', a new Northern Irish thriller starring Dunford.

American-Australian actor Melissa George is also in town for the premiere of 'Don't Go', which also stars Stephen Dorff and Simon Delaney. The Fleadh will also host the premiere of 'Katie', the feature documentary on boxing sensation Katie Taylor, who'll be in town to introduce the premiere with director Ross Whitaker.

There'll also be public interviews with Element Pictures head honchos Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe, panel discussions on topics including gender equality in the film industry and much more.

The Galway Film Fleadh runs from July 10th - 15th and will be set in the newly-opened Palas Cinema and the Town Hall Theatre in Galway. Tickets are now on sale from galwayfilmfleadh.com
