One of the most underrated actors in modern television and cinema, Timothy Olyphant will replace District 9 star Sharlto Copley in the DJ Caruso helmed thriller, I Am Number Four, according to Variety.
The film follows a group of aliens who flee to Earth disguised as teenagers (so far, so Witch Mountain). Alex Pettyfer plays Number Four, who learns that the threat that caused them to leave their planet is still hunting them. Olyphant will play Number Four's guardian, Henri.
Finally picking up some well deserved plaudits for his role in the cracking FX series, Justified, Olyphant has edgy charisma to burn, and is one of my favourite actors working today. Dreamworks are throwing serious clams at this film, so lets hope Caruso rediscovers some form after the below average Eagle Eye.
