Odeon Cinemas recently conducted a survey of their customers, which found that 70% of us will be visiting the cinema over the Christmas season.

To make sure their customers have plenty of choice, Odeon Cinemas will be screening three Christmas classics over the holiday period. One of the most iconic films of all time It’s a Wonderful Life will be screened in all Odeon cinemas nationwide on the 6th December at 7.30pm Jingle All the Way jingles onto screens on the 11th of December at 3.30pm and the most popular Christmas film from the survey with 32% of the vote, family favourite Home Alone on the 13th December at 8.15pm. All three films will be screened across all ODEON cinemas nationwide.

Sinead O’Neill, marketing manager of Odeon cinemas said today “We are advising all our guests to book in advance as these three films are being screened only once with a very festive price of just €5 per ticket”.

These films are in addition to the return of the Star Wars franchise to cinemas. To celebrate Rogue One: A Star Wars Story coming to the eleven Odeon cinemas every ticket pre booked online will be automatically entered into a weekly prize draw to win some exciting prizes including film merchandise.

Elf was the favourite festive character
50% of the people surveyed say their seat preference is in the middle of the cinema
Popcorn is the runaway snack preference with 60% of the vote.
33% added Maltesers and 33% added Minstrels to their popcorn
Talking was the pet peeve (46%) followed by people on their phone (31.33%)
