Last night the Super Bowl took place, aka the biggest sporting event on American TV of the year. Because of its high viewership, a lot of previews for major movies get broadcast during the game's intermissions. Two trailers that people got particularly psyched about are 'No Time to Die' and 'Top Gun: Maverick'.
Both action movies hit screens later this year with 'No Time to Die' marking Daniel Craig's last venture as James Bond aka 007.
The 'Top Gun' sequel, meanwhile, sees Tom Cruise returning to an iconic role too - Pete "Maverick" Mitchell.
Funnily enough, both Bond and Maverick show off their piloting skills in the respective TV spots or teaser trailers.
In the 'No Time to Die' spot, we see more of Lashanna Lynch's character (and see more action than was in the first trailer); the 'Top Gun: Maverick' one focusses on the emotion, having emphasised action and nostalgia previously.
The former hits Irish cinemas 3 April while the latter arrives 17 July.
