The trailer for 'Nightmare Alley' has arrived in the run-up to Halloween (mid-September totally counts, right?). Details around the movie - including its release date - remain mysterious and spooky...

'Nightmare Alley' is directed by Guillermo del Toro, who previously brought cinemagoers the Oscar-winning feature 'The Shape of Water'.

He also directed 'Pan's Labyrinth', 'Crimson Peak', 'Blade II', 'Cronos' and 'The Devil's Backbone' so this latest sees the filmmaker go back to his roots in horror.

The cast for 'Nightmare Alley' has some big names. There's Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, and David Strathairn.

According to the synopsis, "an ambitious carny (Bradley Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is."
