Nicolas Cage says it's very unlikely he'll stick around for Ghost Rider 3. We say 'thank f*** for that'. I doubt there are many of you who will challenge me on this; of all the Marvel comic film adaptations, the Ghost Rider franchise is pretty unpalatable. Not when you compare it with something like Iron Man, for example. Then again, it does create quite the stir at the likes of Comic Con so maybe I'm on my own here.

Speaking to Collider about the possibility of a third film, Cage said: "It's possible... But it won't be with me."

"I've said what I have to say," continued the actor whose face ends up on all manner of ridiculous Tumblrs. "I don't want to say never… anything's possible. But I doubt, highly, that I would be in a third installment of that."

Awh, shucks.
