'The Batman' has been the talk of the town for the last few weeks since its release. Now, all anyone can talk about is what comes next.

There's been tonnes of conspiracy theories and Easter Eggs spotted in the movie and everyone wants to know when a sequel will be announced and what villains will be featured.

One such person very interested in the future of 'The Batman' is apparently Nicolas Cage. The actor, who stars in the upcoming comedy 'The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent', was asked about what roles he still wants to play.

In his response, he first mentioned Captain Nemo from Jules Verne's 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea'. He then paused and said 'Oh here's something, I've been thinking about this,' with a smile.

"We have this new [movie with] Robert Pattinson as The Batman, which I'm excited to see. I haven't seen it yet but I think he would be terrific," Cage said. "The villain that Vincent Price played on the 60s show, Egghead, I think I want to have a go at Egghead. I think I can make him absolutely terrifying. And I have a concept for Egghead. So let them know over at Warner Bros., I'm down for Egghead."

The character first appeared in the October 1966 episode 'An Egg Grows in Gotham' and was identifiable by his pale bald head and white and yellow suit.

Egghead believed himself to be "the world's smartest criminal," and his crimes would usually have an egg-motif to them as well as including egg puns in his speech where appropriate such as "egg-zactly" and "egg-cellent."

We would love to see what Cage's take on the character would be and we're sure Reeves could fit him in somewhere across the sequels or upcoming TV show spinoffs. He may have to lose the puns, though - we're getting terrible flashbacks of Mr. Freeze in 'Batman & Robin'.
