When he's not defending himself against ninjas/inficting pain on others with his claws, Hugh Jackman has been known to star in other movies outside of The Wolverine umbrella. Sometimes we forget that he's not actually Logan, don't you?

Here he stars alongisde Jake Gyllenhaal in Prisoners, from the folk at Warner Bros. It's touted as a missing persons thriller in which the two lads go on a dedicated hunt to locate Hugh's daughter who has been abducted. Major nightmare fare, sure to have you on the edge of your seat.

Gyllenhaal steps into his policeman shoes once again (End of Watch), and stars as the cop whose job it is to solve this case. However, his badge doesn't bring him much luck, and Jackman soon takes matters into his own capable (claw-less) hands.

What's more, the very cool Paul Dano stars. I've met him, he's sound as a pound but here he gives me a serious case of the creeps. Job well done!

Little word of warning though, folks, it could be argued that this trailer gives quite a lot away so if you'd rather save it for when your bums on the cinema seat, then best skip this one.
