JUNE 3rd

Me Before You

Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin star in this feature adaptation of JoJo Moyes' heartwarming tale of love and friendship in the face of adversity. Bring the tissues.

 

The Nice Guys

Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe team up for this '70s action comedy from Shane Black, the brains behind Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and every buddy-cop film you've ever loved.

 

Race

Jeremy Irons, Jason Sudeikis, Carice Van Outen and Stephen James star in this biographical film on the life and times of Jesse Owens and the racial discrimination and prejudice he faced on his way to the 1939 Olympics.

 

The Measure Of A Man

Vincent Lindon stars in this French drama about a middle-aged everyman who's forced into taking some drastic steps to keep his family above water whilst unemployed. Dark, thought-provoking and realistic, The Measure Of A Man's a fascinating watch.

 

JUNE 10th

The Boss

Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell and Kathy Bates star in this raucous comedy about a Martha Stewart-type who's got to work her way back to the top of the business world after she's charged with financial wrongdoing.

 

Now You See Me 2

Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Kate Mara, Michael Caine and Mark Ruffalo are back and, this time, they're squaring off against Daniel Radcliffe in another illusion-filled spectacle.

 

Embrace Of The Serpent

Nominated for Best Foreign Language at the 2016 Oscars, Embrace Of The Serpent sees a Colombian shaman help a German explorer and his guide search the wilds of the jungle for a rare plant whose medical benefits could change the world.

 

Fire At Sea

Set on the island of Lampedusa in Italy, this documentary shows the horrors of the migrant crisis and its affect on the islanders through captured footage and a narrative story.

 

Where To Invade Next

Veteran documentary director Michael Moore is back with another swipe at the powers that be. This time, Moore visits a number of countries to see how they're dealing with the socio-economic problems that are currently plaguing the US. Bleak, hilarious and insightful all at once, Where To Invade Next is one of the best documentaries of the year.

 

JUNE 17th

The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist

The Warrens - Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga - are back for another chilling story of demonic possession, scary children and '70s hairdos. This time, the psychic couple are in England where they face one of the most well-documented exorcisms in history.

 

Cemetery Of Splendour

Set entirely in a Thai medical clinic, a squad of soldiers have been afflicted by a mysterious sleeping sickness that causes them troubled dreams and vivid hallucinations.

 

JUNE 24th

Independence Day: Resurgence

It's been twenty years since the alien invasion, but that was only the start. Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman return, whilst newcomers Liam Hemsworth and Maika Monroe take on the alien threat in this world-destroying blockbuster.

 

The Secret Life Of Pets

Ever wonder what your dogs get up to when you're out of the house? The Secret Life Of Pets has one of the best casts we've ever seen, including Louis CK, Jenny Slate, Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet and Hannibal Buress.

 

Ma Ma

From the director of Sex & Lucia, Penelope Cruz stars in this emotional melodrama about a woman, diagnosed with breast cancer, who forms a profound bow with a recently widowed father.

Based on the novel by Tom McCarthy, a young Londoner has to reconstruct his memories following a bout of amnesia brought on by a blow to head. How does he do this? By using his insurance settlement to reeenact and recreate scenes he can half-remember.
