Production on the David O Russell film Nailed has shut down for a third time, after prop folk walked off the set because of another union issue. Twice previously the movies stars Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal have been pulled by the Screen Actors Guild after "insufficient funds" were lodged by the films financers. According to Variety "below-the-line crews (props, lights, electrics etc) refused to work Thursday. Members of the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees were ordered by IATSE leaders not to show up at the South Carolina set after not being paid". This is a right aul' clusterf**k for O Russell, as the film is now seriously behind schedule. Still, the man is an immensely talented director (despite being a complete t*t) and many a great film has been pulled from a carnage ridden set. I’d say Biel and Gyllenhaal are mighty pissed off though.
