Cork native Cillian Murphy has joined the cast of the science fiction thriller, I’m.mortal - see what they did there?
According to Heat Vision Blog by way of Empire Online, Murphy will play an enforcer in a world where people can essentially by youth and immortality. Justin Timberlake is in talks for the lead role of a chap who comes in to some dough, locks down his good looks and bendable joints for a sh*tload of decades and is promptly chased down by the authorities who are wondering how he got the clams. Oh, and he kidnaps Amanda Seyfried for the craic.
Andrew Niccol is writing and directing the film. He's the dude behind the high concept, underperforming likes of Gattaca and S1m0ne, while he's also penned The Truman Show and The Terminal.
