Christopher Mintz-Plasse has joined the star heavy remake of Fright Night as "Evil" Ed Thompson, the lead characters best mate. While Former Doctor WhoDavid Tennant has also been cast as Peter Vincent, the "Vampire expert" our hero turns to in his moment of need.
Our hero is of course, Anton Yelchin, while Colin Farrell recently signed on to play main bad dude, Jerry. They'll be joined by the always great, Toni Collette as Yelchin's mother, while Lars and the Real Girl director Craig Gillespie is calling the shots.
Really cracking cast here, and the original gives a great template for everyone to work from. The script this time is by Marti Noxon, who has worked on both Mad Men, and Buffy.
