One of my favourite directors Michael Mann is lining up another project, reports Deadline.com.

Mann is attached to Go Like Hell about the duel between Ford vs. Ferrari for sports car supremacy in the 60's, but is now also circling the thriller, The Big Stone Grid. The script was penned by young writer, S. Craig Zahler, whose only writing credit thus far is the horror flick, The Incident. The story centres on two decorated detectives who "uncover a terrifying extortion ring that operates within the secret underbelly of New York City." Mann may move the setting to Los Angeles as he likes to shoot there. Some of The Insider was filmed in New York, but a lot of it was actually shot in LA doubling for the Big Apple - the last scene in The Insider is actually the same building as the conclusion to Collateral. I'm full of interesting facts when it comes to Michael Mann...

Whatever film Mann makes next I'm on board. I still think Miami Vice is underrated and continue to take crap for that to this day. Even Colin Farrell looked at me funny when I told him I liked it.
