Michael Cera has officially signed up to appear in the Arrested Development movie, having been the sole hold-out for months on the project. Cera will join JasonBateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, Jeffrey Tambor and David Cross who have all already climbed on board, and it looks like the film could go into production as early as the end of the year. Producer Ron Howard confirmed at the Oscars that things were going ahead, but refused to give any more details, as they're looking to surprise fans of the series with the cinematic incarnation. Great news. A truly funny and smart series, that may actually translate well to the big screen. With that cast, don't bet against this being a huge hit, either.
