Scottish thespian James McAvoy has signed on for his first leading role since last year's action hit Wanted, and it's currently in pre-production sequel. He will star opposite Seth Rogen in the comedy, I'm With Cancer, based on the book by screenwriter Will Reiser, who managed to survive the disease in his mid-20's. McAvoy will play Reiser, while Rogen will co-star in an unspecified role, and will also produce the film with Evan Goldberg. Walking and Talking helmer Nicole Holofcener will direct the intriguing sounding story. There's actually a funny line Rogen spews about McAvoy in Funny People, which might mean the two of them already knew each other.
