Given the never ending influx of film adaptations of once popular TV shows, it should come as no surprise to anyone that a MacGyver film is being planned by the series’ creator Lee David Zlotoff. The sometime jobbing television producer managed to hold onto the rights since the show finished in 1992 - something that could gain him mucho coin if a decent star and director become attached to the project. For those of you out there under 21 who are wondering why the dude from Stargate has a mullet, it was on account of what passed as an aesthetically pleasing mop in the 80’s. MacGyver was known for his incredible innovativeness in any given high-pressured situation; he was like all of the A-Team rolled into one pensive, manly package. He made things like jet ski’s from elastic bands and rusted tricycles; and he looked damn good doing it.
