Leonardo DiCaprio was the highest paid actor in Hollywood last year, after headlining two hit movies - Shutter Island and Inception.
DiCaprio pulled in an impressive $77 million in 2010, mainly because of back end deals on both films - but mostly for huge box office smash Inception. There were some surprising names on the list, most notably Tim Allen - who must've coined all his dough from Toy Story 3 and residuals. Also, no Charlie Sheen before he went all Lindsay Lohan?

Ben Stiller, Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Tim Allen and Tom Cruise complete the top 10. Matt Damon and Jim Carrey sneak into the top 15 - surprising for Damon who has always been a consistent worker. His fee must be around $10 million a movie. Still, DiCaprio is proof that risk pays off, and he deserves his place on top of the pile.
