British Thespian Matthew Goode has joined the cast of the Irish set romcom Leap Year, opposite the lovely Amy Adams. Goode is about to open in the highly anticipated Watchmen, which hits cinema screens around the world on March 6th, and will play an Irish inn keeper, who falls for Adams when taking her across the country so she can propose to her boyfriend. Originally it sounded pretty crap - despite the presence of the ever excellent Adams - but then Shopgirl director Anand Tucker signed on to helm, and Slumdog Millionaire scripter Simon Beaufoy was brought in to rewrite the script and it  then sounded great all of a sudden. The film is due to begin lensing here in March, with production all around the country.
