It's not often you'll find stars on The Hills donning this section of the site, but I'm pulling this piece from Variety, simply because it couldn't be more obvious. The trade bible is reporting that Lauren Conrad, who is the "star" of the "reality" show, has written a book, and the book has been purchased by an LA based production company who will turn it into a movie. Now, I hear you loudly ponder, just what could this opus be about? Well.... according to the source: "The novel tells the story of a 19-year-old who moves to Hollywood, quickly finds fame as a reality series star and then has to deal with the ramifications of living a fishbowl life." If she plays herself, it'll be just like a big screen version of The Hills, as in, it will be about as "real" as Gamer.
