Director of recent horror hit 'Nope' Jordan Peele has hinted that he may return to the mysterious world from the movie.

In an interview with the New York Times, Peele was asked about a character that didn't appear in the film. Seen on the movie's IMDB page, Michael Busch portrays the character billed as "Nobody".

We don't, however, see the character as he doesn't feature in the final edit of the film. Rumours have since circulated of further stories being explored within the 'Nope' universe.

In a question about fan theories stemming from the character's absence, Peele said that, "people are doing a lot of interesting detective work, is what's going on... The story of that character has yet to be told, I can tell you that. Which is another frustrating way of saying, I'm glad people are paying attention."

He added, "I do think they will get more answers on some of these things in the future. We're not over telling all of these stories."

Busch does actually feature in the final trailer for 'Nope'. He is briefly seen walking in the opposite direction of a crowd of people running away from something.

Peele's words strongly suggest we'll be revisiting OJ, Emerald and Angel on the ranch again. There's certainly a lot more questions to answer.

'Nope' is currently in Irish cinemas.
