The next 'Jurassic World' film will not feature Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, with the pair bowing out after three movies together.

However, that means that the door is now open for new leads in the dinosaur movie franchise - and it looks as though its producers may have found them.

According to reports, Jonathan Bailey (Fellow Travelers) is in early talks to lead the fourth 'Jurassic World' film, which is scheduled for release in July 2025. Scarlett Johansson is also reportedly circling the lead female role.

It sounds like the next film in the series will be the dawn of a new era in many respects; as well as Pratt and Howard vacating their lead roles, the original trio of Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill and Laura Dern will not return, while new director Gareth Edwards will take over behind the camera.

Bailey is seen as a hot favourite to land the lead role as he is already starring in the film adaptation of 'Wicked', which is - like the 'Jurassic World' films - a Universal film.
