John Krasinski shared a video celebrating the reopening of cinemas in the US yesterday. The actor and director popped into a screening of his new movie 'A Quiet Place Part II' at an AMC theatre in Miami.

Movie goers were delighted to see John Krasinski in the cinema.

The star of 'The Office' took pictures with fans while he was there.

In his video, John Krasinski says: "Here's the deal: I said that I would bring out 'A Quiet Place Part II' when we could all see it together. Well, guess what? It's time."

He continued: "And it's Miami. Let's go!"

The surprised audience cheered upon seeing him.

John Krasinski informed them that he'll be "going around theaters all across the country, popping in like this to say, 'Thank you.'"

"Come back to the theatres, let's watch movies together, let's be together," he added. "Let's do it."

If that's not an effective promo for the upcoming sequel, we don't know what is.

John Krasinski directed and co-starred in the first 'A Quiet Place', which also starred his wife, actress Emily Blunt, back in 2018.

The sequel sees Blunt return alongside their on-screen kids Regan (Millicent Simmonds) and Marcus (Noah Jupe).

Joining the cast of the sequel are Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

We can expect 'A Quiet Place II' to show in cinemas here in Ireland when they reopen sometime in June.

Here's the trailer.

And here's some bonus John Krasinski content.

He appeared on Stephen Colbert's talk show recently and arm-wrestled the host.

It's quite amusing actually.
