James Franco, already a legend to other actors and only in the midst of his 30s, has just made another seemingly random career decision.
According to Darkhorizons.com via TV Guide, Franco will star in and produce a dramatic big screen version of the popular 70's sitcom, Three's Company. I'm not joking. The actor apparently did something at Sundance where he dramatised the first three episodes of the show, and the owners of the estate were apparently really happy with what they saw. "When we were accepted to Sundance, we didn't have the series rights, but then the Three's Company estate contacted us. At first they were opposed to it, but then they saw what we did (a startling dramatic take) and loved it. So they are now talking to us about developing a Three's Company feature film and an off-Broadway play" Franco told the folks at TV Guide.
Just when you think that dude can't get anymore random/awesome he goes and does something like that. He obviously could care less about his career and is making decisions purely on whether they interest him or not. Good for him. But that f**king theme song is in my head now. Come and knock on my dooooooor... Ha! Now it's in yours too.
