While it's still early days yet, the new 'Scream' movie is coming together nicely, with Courtney Cox and David Arquette set to reprise their roles as Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley.

Meanwhile, Jack Quaid, best known for his role in 'The Boys' is confirmed to join the cast according to Variety. Quaid's role in the movie has not yet been confirmed, however a release date of January 14th, 2022 was announced earlier this week.

As well as starring in 'The Boys' and a few supporting roles in the likes of 'Logan Lucky', 'The Hunger Games', and 'Vinyl', Quaid is also known as the son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan. The 'Scream' relaunch will see Kevin Williamson - the franchise creator - act as executive producer, while 'Ready Or Not' directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are getting behind the camera.

The only question now is who else from the original cast is set to return? You've got to imagine Neve Campbell is either going to have a cameo in it or she'll be announced for a role in it at some point.
