Jack Black, Kevin Kline and Steve Carell have joined Frank or Francis, while Nicolas Cage was already attached to Charlie Kaufman's second film as director, says Variety.

The story is apparently a "Hollywood-skewering satire about the online war between a successful but pretentious filmmaker (Carell) who cheats on his wife and is in an online feud with a self-aggrandising blogger (Black)." Kline will play Carrell's brother, while Cage will play a movie star.

Sounds like a blast, especially in Kaufman's surrealist hands. He made his directorial debut with Synecdoche, New York, and has penned the brilliant likes of Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
