If you want to look at a guy who loves his job, and I mean LOVES his job, you need look no further than Leonardo DiCaprio. The man never stops; it's a quick turnaround of projects - almost as quick as he is with the blonde modelesque girlfriends, if you will - without so much as a long overdue, well-earned break from the limelight. Just as he announced at the beginning of this year that he was taking a considerable hiatus from acting, following The Wolf of Wall Street, he seems to have done a complete 180 and decided to make yet another film. You can put your money on it that it won't be some weakly-scripted, half-arsed rom-com either; it'll be Oscar worthy performance-of-a-lifetime level as per usual.

This time around the film he has in mind is a Viking-based tale about the life of 11th century conqueror Harald Hardrada, nicknamed by historians as the last great Viking king. And maybe, just maybe, The Great Gatsby actor will pillage at the Awards ceremonies with this one (sorry, had to be done).

When not in front of the screen, DiCaprio is working behind it, producing films such as Runner Runner, Out Of The Furnace and Live By Night; all in production right now. According to Empire magazine, DiCaprio put himself forward and was denied for a similar role that Mel Gibson was developing which never came to fruition. All this really evinces, however, is that Mel is batshit crazy and has lost all perspective (for further proof see How I Spent My Summer Vacation or The Beaver). Our confidence is in DiCaprio, who stated that he planned on improving the world and helping the environment while on his break. As his recent turnaround from break to full speed ahead illustrates, the best way he can help is by getting on screen.
