Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull has premiered is Cannes to a slighty mixed response from critics. The highly anticipated sequel is apparently on par with a sequel, but nowhere near as good as Raiders Of The Lost Ark. The notoriously snorty Cannes crowd generally seemed to eat up the film though, as the cast and primary crew turned up to promote the hell out of it. Indy himself isn’t fazed by the lukewarm critical response though, as Ford reiterated that this is a film predominately for the fans of the franchise, and is hardly critically driven. In fairness, Spielberg has said from the start that this it was his intention to churn out a crowd pleaser, and he looks to have done just that.
