Despite being about as entertaining as watching a dog licking its own arse for an hour and a half, 'The Final Destination' managed to scare up enough cinema-goers this passing weekend to plant itself atop the American box-office. The third sequel in the series coined an estimated $28.3 million, to easily give it the top spot ahead of other new entry, Halloween 2, which came in third with $17.4 million after some scathing reviews. Although it is being billed as "The Final Destination" I'd be very surprised if we didn’t see another sequel soon after that opening. Elsewhere, the Ang Lee helmed Taking Woodstock underperformed, coining just $3.7 million.
