By the looks of things, Taylor Swift is all set for her role in the crime-drama 'Amsterdam' by the director David O. Russell. We've been gifted with a first look at the characters from the flick set in 1930s that boasts a tagline saying "let the love, murder, and conspiracy begin".

The film will follow three friends who are each a doctor, a nurse, and a lawyer as they embark on a murder mystery but that, plot twist, leads them to uncover one of America's biggest secrets.

It's got a pretty star-studded cast, featuring Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, John David Washington, Rock, Anna Taylor-Joy, Robert Di Nero, Rami Malek, Mike Myers, and of course, Taylor Swift.

In a new set of posters for the film, we're given an exclusive look at the characters; each and everyone looks simultaneously glamorous and suspicious, like an hommage to the iconic Cluedo characters.

Taylor Swift as Liz Meekins is dressed in a green skirt suit snatched with a black belt combined with a black shrug strewn across her shoulders, a black hat, and a pair of black gloves. Fans might say her look is evocative of her persona in her song 'no body, no crime'.

It's not Swift's first rodeo. Sure, remember her in 'Cats' or even as far back at 12 years ago in 'Valentine's Day'? Theater runs through her veins, so we're sure she's going to dazzle us — even if her role is minor. There are no small parts, only small actors (slash singers).

'Amsterdam' is out on the 7th of October.
