Yes, you read that right. The one and only Gladiator/Jor El/Javert/Noah will be touching down on the Emerald Isle this Saturday for a special screening of Darren Aronofsky's Noah, right in the heart of the capital.

Crowe is set to jet into the country from the US after he wraps up press Stateside to show off Noah to his Irish fans personally. Clearly someone made a good impression on him somewhere along the way, so well done team.

Per the press release:

Paramount Pictures Ireland is thrilled to announce that Academy Award Winner Russell Crowe is coming to Dublin this Saturday March 29th for a special screening of Noah at the Savoy cinema.

Russell Crowe stars as Noah in the film inspired by the epic story of courage, sacrifice and hope. The film is directed by visionary filmmaker Darren Aronofsky.

So there you have it. If you want to see the Oscar-winning actor in the flesh, you know where you should be this weekend. And stay tuned for tickets, because we're going to have some to give away for the first showing of the film on Saturday. You never know who might be there.

Noah opens across Ireland on April 4th 2014.
