Saoirse Ronan is proving herself to be more than just a critical darling, and a genuine box-office draw as her new film, Hanna, over performed in America and just topped the Irish box-office this passing weekend.
The action film which also stars Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett, took an estimated €197,324 at Irish cinemas over the weekend, beating other new comers Water for Elephants, Priest and Something Borrowed.
We'll next see Ronan playing another assassin in Violet and Daisy, while she's also landed the plum lead role in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight follow up, The Host
