'GALAXY QUEST' SCREENING AT GRAND SOCIAL
"Can you form some kind of ruidmentary lathe?" This is just one of many painfully hilarious one-liners from Galaxy Quest. The cast of a long-cancelled science-fiction TV series are brought to an alien planet. What's worse is the aliens believe their show is, in fact, historical documents and that the cast members are all heroes.
It's easily one of the funniest sci-fi comedies ever made and, what's more, it totally deserves to be seen with an audience. Starring Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman and Sam Rockwell and directed by Dean Parisot, it's considered a modern classic.
What's even better is that there's a free - yes, FREE - screening of Galaxy Quest this Wednesday at Grand Social, Dublin. The film starts at 8PM and there'll be free giveaways on the night, too!
